What is Chiropractic?

The World Health Organisation defines chiropractic as:

A health care profession concerned with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disorders of the neuromusculoskeletal system and the effects of these disorders on general health. There is an emphasis on manual techniques, including joint adjustment and/or manipulation with a particular focus on subluxations”.

There are a range of conditions that can be treated or helped with by Chiropractic Care.

How does Chiropractic work and how can it help you?

After a thorough discussion of any issues you may be seeking care for, we will conduct a thorough examination to determine any areas that need attention. From that we will develop a plan to get you headed in the right direction. The most common approaches that we use are chiropractic adjustments which aim to restore better movement to spinal joints and exercise to help improve your strength, mobility and posture.

We use a range of techniques matched to your needs. Firmer adjustments are perfect for some people, while lower force adjustments are better suited to others. Adjustments can be done by hand, using hand held instruments or with special adjusting tables.
